- Meet Celebrity Guest Judges Courtney Clark & Kendon Smith of Cake Nouveau (winners of TLC and Food Network Challenges)
- AMAZING once a year sales and specials (come early so you don’t miss out)
- Draws and Giveaways
- Cast your vote for “People’s Choice” in our CAKE ROOM, with over 50 cakes on display to see.
***For the “CAKE ROOM” we will be collecting donations for ”Nutrition for Learning”, with all proceeds going to them to help their school meal programs. Adults – $2, Children under 13 – $1. Food donations are also appreciated (list of needed items to be announced shortly)***
There are 3 DIVISIONS. Each person may enter up to two cakes. One in either the PRO or HOBBYIST divisions, and one also in OPEN category.
Prizes will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, 3rd and People’s Choice in each division.

First 50 entries receive our special “goodie bags” full of some great cake toys! (last year’s bags were valued at $100)
We are thrilled to be teaming up with NUTRITION FOR LEARNING, with all proceeds from our “CAKE ROOM” going to this amazing cause!
Nutrition for Learning currently supports over 120 community based breakfast, morning meal and lunch programs impacting approximately 9,000 children daily in community nutrition programs committed to improving the learning capacity, health and well being of children and youth in Waterloo Region. Their programs, and over 600 dedicated volunteers, impact the physical, cognitive, behavioural and academic needs of children and youth in our region through student nutrition programs in elementary and secondary schools throughout the region.

GRAND RE-OPENING
&
FIRST ANNUAL CAKE ART COMPETITION
We couldn’t have asked for a better turnout from the cake world! There were 50 AMAZING CAKES on display that totally embodied the year’s theme – “Inspirations in Wonderland”
Conestants were given the guidelines to “think outside the blue dress”, and all of the cakes needed to have the colours pink and green somewhere on their submission. People went above and beyond in their creative efforts and definitely made it difficult on our Celebrity Guest Judges – Courtney Clark & Kendon Smith of Cake Nouveau (Ann Arbor, MI).
All of the guests to our Grand Re-Opening event also treated to cake (of course), demonstrations, cupcake making, playing CAKE MANIA on Wii and even had the chance to cast their own “People’s Choice” picks for each category. At the end of the day more than 600 votes were entered, and everyone in attendance had an absolute blast!
After all of the votes were tallied – OVER $8500 IN PRIZES WERE HANDED OUT
